In a tragic incident in Nigeria, Anthony Joshua's driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged after a crash resulting in the deaths of two of Joshua's team members, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami. Both were close associates of Joshua, who suffered injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital.
Kayode was charged at the Sagamu Magistrates' Court, with allegations including causing death by dangerous driving. The crash occurred when the vehicle carrying Joshua and his team collided with a stationary truck on a busy highway in Ogun State, near Lagos.
Following the accident, Joshua was hospitalized but quickly discharged. He is reported to be 'heavy hearted' over the deaths of his friends and has visited the funeral home where their bodies are being prepared for repatriation.
