On Wednesday, November 5, a new relief convoy from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived in the Gaza Strip, bringing tents and food baskets to families affected by the ongoing conflict.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the shipment is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian campaign aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in the region, providing essential supplies and alleviating suffering amid difficult living conditions.
Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, the implementing partner for KSrelief in Gaza, began distributing the aid to the most vulnerable families immediately upon arrival.
The tents, designed for rapid deployment, are intended to offer temporary shelter for displaced residents while more permanent solutions are pursued, the agency noted.
Food baskets, containing staples such as rice, lentils, and canned goods, are being allocated to households that have faced severe shortages of basic necessities, ensuring that families have immediate access to nutrition.
The distribution efforts focus on areas with the highest need, as determined by on‑ground assessments conducted by KSrelief’s local staff.
KSrelief’s operation in Gaza is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives, which aim to provide essential supplies and improve living conditions for displaced people amid the continued urgent need for aid.
