The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a fresh consignment of emergency medicines and medical supplies to Yemen’s Marib Governorate on 5 November 2026, delivering the aid to the office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population. The shipment arrived as the region’s health facilities face a growing demand for care amid a large number of displaced people moving into the governorate.
Marib Deputy Governor Dr. Abd Rabbu Miftah welcomed the arrival of the aid. He noted that the new supplies would help replenish medicine stocks and provide essential medical equipment to local health facilities. According to Miftah, the assistance will help improve medical services and ease the increasing pressure on healthcare facilities caused by the influx of displaced persons.
The shipment, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief, was intended to strengthen the healthcare sector’s capacity and support medical facilities in meeting the governorate’s growing healthcare needs. KSrelief has repeatedly sent human aid to the Yemen region in an effort to mitigate the suffering of Yemenis and displaced people.
Saudi Arabia has established KSrelief as a channel for delivering medical and humanitarian assistance to areas in crisis. The organization’s latest consignment is one of several shipments that have reached Yemen in recent months, reflecting a sustained effort to bolster the country’s health infrastructure and ensure the continued provision of healthcare services to beneficiaries.
