On 3 November 2026, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) handed out 421 food baskets to displaced families and host communities in the Al‑Mansoura District of Aden, Yemen, according to a statement from the Saudi Press Agency.
The distribution reached 2,180 people, grouped into 313 households, providing staples such as rice, flour, and cooking oil to families dealing with displacement and limited access to basic supplies.
KSrelief’s Emergency Response Project, which aims to ease the suffering of Yemen’s ongoing humanitarian crisis, organized the delivery of the baskets through local distribution points set up in the district.
The aid was delivered to a mix of displaced persons who had been forced to flee conflict‑affected areas, and host households that have taken in these families, helping to alleviate the severe food insecurity that plagues the region.
Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts, implemented through KSrelief, have been focused on supporting the Yemeni people amid widespread suffering, with the recent distribution in Aden further underscoring the organization’s commitment to providing timely assistance.
This action represents a continued effort by KSrelief to deliver essential goods to those most in need during Yemen’s critical humanitarian crisis, offering a temporary respite for families struggling to secure daily meals.
