TUCSON, Ariz. — Savannah Guthrie is renewing pleas to neighbors, friends, and residents of Tucson, Arizona, to jog their memories in hopes of sparking new leads in the disappearance of her mother, Nancy.

On Sunday, the Today Show co-host shared a family statement via Instagram, post which the show’s account echoed her sentiments.

The family expressed gratitude towards the community and posited that someone in Tucson or southern Arizona may possess crucial information regarding the case.

“Someone knows something. It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant,” the statement read.

They particularly urged people to revisit memories from January 31, the last time Nancy was seen, and throughout the evening of February 1.

“Please confer camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations, or conversations that may hold significance,” the family requested. “No detail is too small.”

In their statement, they candidly acknowledged the painful possibility that their matriarch may no longer be alive.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on February 1, leading authorities to believe that the 84-year-old may have been kidnapped or taken against her will. The FBI has released surveillance footage capturing a masked individual near Nancy’s residence the evening she disappeared.

The Guthrie family has also announced a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy's recovery.

Savannah, who co-hosts NBC’s Today Show, made her first on-screen appearance since her mother’s disappearance on March 5, and she plans to return to air when she feels ready. For now, her focus remains on supporting her family and working towards bringing her mother home.

Tucson, located just over 100 miles south of Phoenix, is known for its affluent neighborhoods and beautiful hiking trails. Savannah has been a co-host of the Today Show since 2012, during which time her colleague Hoda Kotb has stepped in to fill the gap while Savannah concentrates on her family situation.
