Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump sent a message to Iranians protesting against the regime that help is on its way. Since then there has been a slow, steady and significant build-up of US military forces in the region.

America, which is the world's most powerful military, has already shown it can strike Iran, as demonstrated in last June's operation Midnight Hammer targeting its nuclear facilities with over 100 aircraft without a single loss.

The question now is: Is the US getting ready to hit Iran, again? Trump's latest post on social media suggests he may, warning Iran that unless it makes a deal to limit its nuclear programme, the next attack will be far worse!

The US already has a significant military footprint in the Middle East, with up to 50,000 military personnel stationed in various locations, including Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and others. Open-source intelligence has tracked additional military aircraft arriving in the region, including fighter jets and transport aircraft carrying air defense systems, suggesting readiness for potential retaliatory strikes.

The arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group to the Gulf has intensified speculation about imminent military action, with this group equipped with the latest stealth jets and Tomahawk missiles. Analysts believe the US could target Iran's military capabilities or directly target the regime itself, but caution that striking deeply buried facilities would require specialized bombers.

While President Trump has previously demonstrated a willingness to use military force, he has also expressed a desire to avoid prolonged conflicts, suggesting that any military strategy might balance decisiveness with the potential outcomes of such actions.
