The heist, which netted around $10 million in jewelry including a diamond engagement ring, was executed while Kardashian was staying at the Hotel de Pourtales in Paris. The court proceedings revealed that four members of the gang received prison sentences ranging from seven to eight years, although most of these terms were suspended.

During the trial, Kardashian took the stand for five hours, detailing the harrowing experience that she claimed was "the most terrifying of my life." Following the verdicts, she shared her feelings, stating, "While I'll never forget what happened, I believe in the power of growth and accountability and pray for healing for all."

The trial included testimony that confirmed DNA evidence linked two of the accused, Aomar Ait Khedache, 69, and Yunice Abbas, 71, to the crime scene. Khedache received a sentenced of eight years, with five suspended, while Abbas was given a seven-year term, also with a suspended sentence.
