Upon settling in Connecticut, they dedicated themselves to coaching, facing the challenges of a different competitive landscape. Vadim Naumov often reflected on the differences between training in Russia and the U.S., emphasizing the high expectations placed upon young athletes in America. Despite these challenges, he remained passionate about creating an enjoyable and rigorous learning environment for his students. The skating community worldwide will remember Shishkova and Naumov not only for their competitive achievements but also for their unwavering commitment to fostering a love for the sport among their pupils.
