Ontario Police have charged a 34‑year‑old woman with 65 offences that include fraud, theft and disobeying court orders after a series of thefts at five provincial hospitals.
The suspect, identified as Nassim Eronn from Burlington, has been accused of stealing from patients and staff across the province from February 2024 to September 2026.
OPP’s investigation began after an incident at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and was later expanded to cover four more facilities. Search warrants were executed that recovered clothing, medical supplies and other items valued at thousands of dollars.
Charges include 34 counts of fraud under $5,000, 13 counts of theft under $5,000, seven counts of disobeying a court order, breach of trust and impersonation. Authorities believe more victims may exist and are urging the public to review financial records for suspicious transactions.

- Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Hospital (Mississauga, ON) – Aug 2025 to Jul 2026
- St. Joseph's Health Centre (Toronto, ON) – Jul 2024 to Jan 2025
- West Park Health Care Centre (Toronto, ON) – Feb 2024 to Apr 2024
The exact duties of the suspect at each site remain unclear, but the scope of the theft ring raises concerns about internal controls and staff vetting in healthcare settings.
