BTS members RM and V have officially completed their mandatory military service, igniting a wave of excitement among their global fanbase. On Tuesday, the duo greeted fans at Hybe's headquarters in Seoul with enthusiastic salutes and a memorable saxophone performance. V urged supporters to "wait just a little longer" for the highly anticipated reunion of all seven members, with the entire group expected to finish their service by the end of the month.

A large crowd, including many international fans, gathered to welcome RM and V back, some clad in BTS's signature purple and wielding banners and photos celebrating the idols. South Korea mandates military service for able-bodied males aged 18 to 28, ensuring national readiness against potential threats from North Korea.

"I've traveled from the UK to be here and witness this moment. BTS is an inspiration!" said Janya, a devoted fan. Another supporter, Ivory from Australia, expressed relief at the return of the members, sharing her excitement at their newfound freedom to pursue their passions. Hannah Chung from London revealed that she planned her trip two years in advance in anticipation of their discharge, hoping to catch the band at the upcoming annual BTS Festa, celebrating their debut.

During their release ceremony, RM expressed gratitude for their fans' patience, stating, "I'm ready to hit the ground running again as RM of BTS." V shared his personal reflections, describing military service as a time for physical and mental resetting.

Debuting in 2013, BTS gained worldwide acclaim with their unique blend of K-pop, pop, hip-hop, and R&B, particularly after a successful 2017 US tour. They made history as the most-streamed group on Spotify and broke numerous records, including being the first K-pop act to top the US iTunes chart. Known as the Bangtan Boys, or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts," BTS has also taken a strong stance on youth issues, including a mental health initiative with UNICEF and discussions with global leaders about social challenges.

As the group's military service comes to an end, fans are left eagerly anticipating the future of BTS and their return to the music scene.
