One of the most outspoken members of the US Republican Party regarding the Epstein files, Congressman Thomas Massie, conveyed his discontent during his interview with the BBC's Newsnight program. He stated, Men need to be perp-walked in handcuffs to the jail, and until we see that here in this country... we don't have a system of justice that's working. Massie raised concerns over the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the redactions made in files they released under a law co-sponsored by him. He argued that many files remained improperly redacted. In contrast to the US, Massie noted that the UK was actively making arrests related to Epstein's scandal, a situation he found ironic given America's previous belief in achieving more justice through independence from Britain. Massie emphasized the need for the DOJ to cooperate with UK authorities in ongoing investigations and expressed hope for the testimonies of individuals connected to Epstein, such as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Lord Peter Mandelson, who were both arrested in the UK over their ties to the convicted sex offender.
