Supermodel Cindy Crawford posted a black‑and‑white photo of her son on Instagram, writing that she and her family are “beyond heartbroken” after the death of Presley Gerber, aged 27. The model described Presley as a “sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever,” and highlighted the kindness and vulnerability he showed in the world.

Presley was found dead on 20 September at a rehab facility in California. Police say investigators are looking into the death as a suspected overdose, and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner notes the case is pending further investigation. The Santa Monica Police Department has ruled out foul play.

The 27‑year‑old had begun the modelling world like his mother and sister. He debuted for the Italian brand Moschino at just 16, and he regularly shared posts on Instagram’s “Mental Health Mondays,” speaking openly about his struggles with substance use and mental health.

Crawford’s tribute also thanked fans for the outpouring of love and support, adding a message that the family feels blessed to have lived with Presley for 27 years. She concluded with a heart‑wings emoji: “Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia.”

The Gerber family also commemorated Presley on social media. Kaia posted a heartfelt video of the siblings dancing as children, a photo by the ocean, and a handwritten letter addressed to him. The letter reflects their bond and acknowledges her own pain without seeing him.
