Heavy rainfall has triggered devastating landslides and flash floods across northern India. As of Tuesday, more than 30 individuals have lost their lives near a well-known Hindu shrine located in Indian-administered Kashmir. The relentless rains have also adversely impacted regions in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, submerging properties and creating impassable roads. Emergency rescue operations are actively underway, with authorities utilizing both helicopters and boats to evacuate residents stranded by the floods.
