Bowen Yang Bids Farewell to Saturday Night Live
Bowen Yang, the talented comedian and notable SNL cast member, has announced his departure from Saturday Night Live. His last episode is scheduled to air this Saturday, a moment that marks a significant transition in his career.

Since joining SNL as a writer in 2018 before becoming an actor, Yang has become an essential part of the show's fabric, carving his name in history as the first Chinese-American cast member. At just 35, he has been a significant contributor to some of the show's most memorable sketches and characters.
Yang's Instagram post reflected on the lessons he's learned throughout his time at SNL, humorously noting his struggles with wigs and emphasizing the collaborative nature of comedy. He thanked fellow cast members and the show's long-time producer, Lorne Michaels.
His final episode promises to be special, hosted by Ariana Grande, as he transitions to new projects including his role in the upcoming film Wicked and an anticipated character voice in the animated Cat in the Hat film.
