Four teenagers have been charged with burglarizing actor Brad Pitt's home, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. Police Chief Jim McDonnell revealed the suspects, two 18-year-olds, one 17-year-old, and a 16-year-old, are affiliated with a street gang and are believed to be responsible for a series of break-ins targeting celebrities in the area. Among those who reported thefts are notable figures like Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Olivier Giroud.

The police investigation commenced following a brazen heist at Pitt’s property in late June, where three masked individuals breached the perimeter by scaling a fence and smashing a window to access the interior. Although police did not specify the property was owned by Pitt, the home’s address corresponded with a recent purchase made by the actor. The residence, a spacious three-bedroom house located near Griffith Park, is surrounded by greenery that offers substantial privacy.

At the time of the burglary, Pitt was away promoting his latest film, "F1." Authorities confirmed that during a search of the suspects' homes, they uncovered items believed stolen during the burglaries. The investigation revealed a coordinated effort by the suspects, who have been linked to multiple burglaries targeting high-profile individuals throughout Los Angeles.

In a disturbing trend, McDonnell noted the criminals have become proficient in their methods, employing surveillance cameras hidden in nearby flowerbeds and using Wi-Fi jammers to disable home security systems. He warned that public exposure of celebrity and athlete movements online makes them vulnerable, with social media posts potentially signaling to burglars when residents are away. "We don’t really give enough thought to... while we want our friends to know where we are and what we're doing, you're telling everybody else then who may be looking to exploit your situation," McDonnell cautioned.
