In the historic city of Medina, researchers from almost a hundred universities gathered at Taibah University on November 3, 2026, for the sixth International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and its Technologies (MCAIT 2026).
MCAIT 2026: A Global Gathering
The conference, organized in partnership with the Malaysian National University, drew scholars from 37 countries and 98 institutions. Locum researchers presented more than 200 scientific papers, which were submitted to a rigorous review and evaluation process. Following deliberations by a panel of international experts, 142 papers were selected for publication in the IEEE Proceedings, underscoring the event’s global research impact.
Organizers structured the program around five scientific tracks that explored core areas of artificial intelligence, its technologies, and advanced applications. These tracks provided a platform for researchers to share insights on emerging trends and challenge existing paradigms in AI research and deployment.
Dr. Ahmed bin Jameel Shuwail, dean of Taibah University’s College of Computer Science and Engineering, said that publishing the accepted papers in IEEE proceedings “adds to the university’s research visibility and reflects the conference’s role in attracting specialist studies.”
