Sumy Coffee Shop Bombed, Five Killed, More Than 30 Hurt
CCTV footage from a local coffee shop in Sumy captured terrified civilians as Russian glide bombs struck the city on Saturday.
Three camera angles – one outside the shop and two inside – show people crouching on the floor as explosions rocked the building, then hastily running toward the counter to escape the blast.
Local authorities report that five people lost their lives in the attack, including a 13‑year‑old girl, and at least 30 others were injured.
The strike was part of a larger series of attacks on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy, a region that has seen repeated bombardments since the war began.
