SpaceX Launches Crew‑13 to the International Space Station

SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral carrying the Crew‑13 astronauts to the International Space Station. The four‑member team—two NASA astronauts, a Russian cosmonaut and a Canadian, whose wife is expecting their third child—encapsulates a rare family moment in space. The flight was delayed from mid‑September to replace a valve in the Crew Dragon’s propulsion system and will take 7 hours 50 minutes to reach the ISS. Upon arrival, the crew will conduct experiments aimed at advancing future Moon and Mars missions, as released by NASA. This mission highlights continued international cooperation and the growing reality of life events beyond Earth.
