Two people have been killed in what police describe as a 'rolling terror attack' in northern Israel.
Police report that the assailant first ran over a pedestrian in Beit Shean, then continued on to stab a woman near Ein Harod, approximately 8 miles (12.5km) away.
The attacker, identified as a resident of the Palestinian Authority from the occupied West Bank, was shot and incapacitated by a civilian bystander during the incident.
According to Israel's Magen David Adom emergency service, the deceased victim in Beit Shean was a 68-year-old man, while the stabbing victim in Ein Harod was an 18-year-old woman.
